英検®準1級サンプルスピーチ 2020年版

英検®準1級対策

英検準1級二次試験として英検協会のウェブサイトに掲載されている問題を元に、バリューイングリッシュの講師3人にサンプルスピーチを作ってもらいました。これから準1級の受験を控えている、検討している人の参考になれば幸いです。
今回サンプルスピーチを作ってくれた3人の講師は英検準1級を特に得意としている講師です。

講師Faye

~スクリプト~

One day, a woman was on her way to work. She was walking along with other passengers. It was a very busy and crowded morning. Suddenly, a guy with a cigarette passed by and accidentally burnt her jacket. There were so many people in the station that the man didn’t notice what happened. She wanted to talk to him but he was walking very fast.

The next week, the woman decided to join a campaign to avoid the same accident from happening again. They collected signatures to prohibit people from smoking while walking. She was very eager to promote this crusade. Many passerby supported their cause and signed the petition paper.

Six months later, the woman saw some people setting up a smoking area at the station. She stopped and observed on what they were doing. Then, she noticed a sign board warning people with a fine of 1000 yen if they smoke while they walk. The penalty wasn’t so big but she was happy with it. She hoped of a good result.

A few days later, she was outside of the station and saw a few smokers. They were enjoying their time at the smoking area. Unfortunately, When a father and a son passed by, they inhaled the cigarette smoke and coughed. The woman considered the danger of second hand smoking. She is thinking of the best solution.

~スクリプト~

One day, a woman was on her way to work. As she walks down the street, there are people who are smoking while walking and the man in front of her accidentally burned her coat with his cigarette without the man noticing it. She felt surprised and worried.

The next week, she wants to raise awareness about smoking. She joined a campaign to stop people from smoking while walking on the street. She asked the passers by to sign the petition. Some of them are even holding protest cards saying, “No smoking while walking”. People are happy to help and be part of the said campaign.

Six months later, the woman was so happy to see that the campaign was a success. Smoking area was built in the corner of the street near the station with a sign board showing a warning that people who smoke while walking will be fined 1,000 yen. She thought that it could be a good start.

A few days later, the woman passed by the station and felt worried that the smoking area is causing a lot of smoke and is much troublesome for the people passing by. Some of them are even coughing due to the smoke from the smoking area. She thought that the campaign was not really a success after all and must think of other options to solve the problem.

~スクリプト~

One day, a woman was on her way to work. At the central station, she was petrified by what she saw. On her way, a man with a suitcase was held his cigar in his right hand. Her jacket was burnt by the light of the cigar she was so disappointed. The man didn’t notice that incident.

Next week, She and some other citizens helped her to have a campaign with regards to this matter. They made a petition about smoking while walking in public should be ban. They suggested that there is an exact place for smokers In order to avoid any problems, especially for non-smokers.

Six months later, At the central station, she found an area where smokers can smoke there. Finally, she thought that the problem has been solved. If anyone caught red-handed should pay a fine of 1,000 yen.

A few days later, At the smoking area, she found out that there must be something wrong. She thought that the problem of smoking has been solved though it’s not. Passersby having troubles due to the smoke came from that area to the effects of passive smoking.
